So, I started my "diet" 2 weeks ago as of today.
The start of my diet was a little rocky, but I am starting to feel great.
At first I started cutting back on junk food, and eating what I thought was "healthy", walking on the treadmill & joining the weight watchers website... This didn't work well at all.
I started putting up posts on facebook about my weight loss journey so far, and the support has been great!
I also purchased 'Zumba', and I will tell you what, it works like a charm!
In 6 days, I lost 2kg!
The last 2 days I haven't really felt like wanting to do zumba, i've been really tired... But, I think some extra motivation will help me get back on my feet again.
Today, I saw a dietician & worked out a meal plan.
I highly recommend this for anyone losing weight, it's like $50 for an hour to see someone (depending who you see).
I told her what foods I ate in the past, what I have been eating in the past 2 weeks, and funnily enough, the muesli bars, vege chips & healthy rice crackers are the worst!
I now can't eat much carb at all, but mostly protein in my diet.
Dairy; Milk(1tsp milo), Yoghurt, Low Fat Cheese, Lite Cream Cheese.
Meat; Turkey, Salmon, Tuna, Chicken
Vege; Anything that has no carbohydrates (like potato..ect)....I can eat Carrots, Celery, Cucumber, Lettuce, Tomato..ect
Drinks; Water or 0 sugar soft drink.
No pasta, no rice, no potato, no fatty meats, no white bread...
